This project reinterprets the idea of a wall not as a static divider but as a dynamic community-making device in informal settlements. Inspired by interlocking Lego blocks, the design introduces modular units—single and double seater cubes made of recycled plastic—that can be stacked, rotated, and rearranged to create infinite user-friendly configurations. These modules perform multiple roles: partition walls, group or row seating, play structures, amphitheaters, planters, stages, or storage units, activating narrow alleys and underutilized spaces. The process itself is participatory: communities collect plastic waste, recycle it into modules using simple on-site molds, and reuse them to shape their own environments. This cyclical system fosters ownership, reduces waste, and enhances resilience. By breaking and reassembling the wall, the intervention transforms congested streets into vibrant shared spaces, encouraging interaction, play, and learning.
